About us
"Founded by passionate upholstery craftsmen"
Our roots
Steach started with a workshop, not a showroom. For years, we have collaborated with designers, exposed to design and build, we have re-upholstered other people's furniture — stripping covers, rebuilding frames, learning what lasts and what doesn't. That work gave us an uncommon advantage: we understand furniture from the inside out. When we started curating our own collection, we brought that maker's knowledge to every decision. We don't select products from catalogs. We interrogate construction. We test materials. We choose partners — Domkapa in Portugal, Frandsen in Denmark — whose workshops meet the standards our own does.
Our philosophy
Good furniture is honest construction dressed in considered material. We believe the quality you can't see — the joinery, the spring system, the foam density — matters more than the quality you can. Our upholstery heritage means we don't just sell furniture. We understand it, maintain it, and when the time comes, restore it. That's a promise most furniture brands can't make.
